Bryton McClure plays 'Devon Hamilton'

• Devon befriended Lily Winters when she and other Genoa City youths helped Victor Newman rebuild a community recreational centre. Devon shared with Lily that he'd spent much of his life being shuttled from one foster home to another after his drug addict mum took off and his grandmother passed away.
• Recalling her own time on streets, Drucilla Winters managed to convince her husband Neil that they should take Devon in as a foster child. Devon thrived under Neil and Dru's care but when his new family failed to recognise his birthday, a hurt Devon ran away to the zoo where he came face to face with a lion. Neil's brother Malcolm, who'd been around animals during his time in Africa, was able to rescue Devon.
• Devon became Lily's overprotective surrogate big brother and did his best to discourage a relationship between Lily and Daniel, who'd been arrested for vehicular manslaughter.
• Devon was reunited with his birth mother, Yolanda and attempted to help her get off drugs. Neil and Dru graciously brought Yolanda into their home and got her a job at Newman Enterprises. Devon was unhappy to find out that Yolanda made a pass at Neil, hoping to win him away from Dru. Devon bid his mum farewell when she went to live with her sister in Seattle.
• Devon graduated high school with honours and was accepted to Genoa City University. However, his promising future was threatened when he was struck with a devastating bout of meningitis, which has left him deaf.
