Eric Steinberg plays 'Ji Min Kim'
Eric Steinberg portrays mysterious businessman Ji Min Kim and joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in 2006.
Born in Washington, D.C., Steinberg travelled the world with his father, a professor of Asian Studies, and his mother, an opera singer and voice teacher, living in Asia and Europe before returning to Washington.
He attended college at the University of Vermont, and the University of Kent, England, where he decided to pursue acting as a career.
Before joining Y&R, he had a lucrative career appearing in recurring and guest-starring roles on series such as Stargate SG-1, where he portrayed Netan in several episodes. He also filmed roles on Day Break, The Unit, Nip/Tuck, 24, Numb3rs, NCIS, Charmed, CSI: Miami and Without a Trace.
Steinberg's other work includes the feature films Star Trek: First Contact, Largo, True Vinyl, Diviner, Dog Watch, American Hero and Love Talk, a Korean film by award-winning director Yoon Ki.
His extensive stage work includes roles in House Arrest, Space, The Square, The Poison Tree, and A Distant Shore for the Marc Taper Forum/Centre Theatre Group. He also appeared in Romeo and Juliet and The Survivor at Actors Theatre of Louisville; Nothing Sacred, Antigone, Ghost in the Machine and Ballad of Yachiyo at South Coast Repertory Theatre, and many other plays at theatres such as The Intiman and ACT in Seattle, Wash., and Theatre for a New City in New York, NY.
